Why We Love This

We love the lines on this honey amber, two-point mandolin, one of a pair we have just received from the bench of A. Lawrence Smart. The art-deco motif works beatifully here, a perfect match for the asymmetrical two-point body. With its Engelmann spruce top paired to a Western Bigleaf maple back and sides, the Amber two-point has a wide harmonic spectrum and a forgiving, round warmth that still retains plenty of punch. Like it's two-point sibling, this is an exceptional sounding mandolin.
