The new Krautster III from Nik Huber and crew features their signature Dolphin body shape which creates an even more comfortable playing experience than previous versions.

The Huber Krautster, originally launched as a single pickup (bridge humbucker) and single volume control guitar, quickly established itself as a no-nonsense rock machine. While we're huge single coil guitar fans, we understand why folks want two pickups and soon the requests starting coming in to the Huber team for a 2 pickup model which led, yep, you guessed it, to the Krautster II model.

Fast-forward to today, and we're thrilled to help usher in the new Krautster III. Everything we love about the original Krautster I and II are present - exceptional build quality, a satin finished flamed maple neck, an satin finished body (top) with an open pore finished back, Huber wraptail bridge, fantastic sounding Haussel pickups with an ultra versatile coil tap setup, and a chunky-but-comfy neck carve.

The main difference with the III model is the introduction of Huber's Dolphin body shape vs the more traditional LP style shape. Truth be told? Now that we've experienced both, we really love and prefer the new Dolphin body shape. It's more distinctive, balances beautifully, and is 100% Huber.
