Arcara OM-28 Brazilian / Adirondack

New OM-28 just in from Maine's Matthew Arcara! This is the guitar we documented on our blog earlier this year, and it's a thrill to have it in the shop. We supplied the Brazilian Rosewood, and Matt supplied the Red Spruce top. The appointments are traditional style-28: herringbone purfling, ivoroid binding and diamond & squares fretboard inlays. A great sounding guitar, this OM is a nice middle ground guitar for someone wanting a modern instrument's balance and crispness with the warm voice of an older guitar. It's a perfect fit in one of the new Collings-built hard cases, where we've got it housed.
