Part mad scientist, part tone wizard, Zachary Vex has been a hugely influential legend in the pedal world for decades. His hand painted boxes introduced the world to the beauty of 'on the verge of destruction' fuzz tones, sequenced wah effects, and a host of brilliant, incredibly inspiring tone boxes (you really owe it to yourself to check out Zachary's Candela Vibrophase - a candle powered, Rube Goldberg-worthy Vibrophase effect. Just jaw-dropping stuff that will thrill any nerd-at-heart).

The Fuzz Factory is where it all started. Even if you've never heard of it, you've likely heard it. It's been on a ton of recordings and covers anything from 'the world is coming to an end' fuzz through traditional Fuzz Face goodness. This thing will squeal and seem to have a mind of its own until you get control over the gate or stab features. But where's the fun in that? The whole point is to give you, well, a factory's worth of fuzz tones - the good, the bad, the ugly. It's whatever you want or need it to be.

The Vexter Fat Fuzz Factory houses all the same components of the pricier hand-painted pedals, but uses silk-screened graphics to keep the costs down. The Fat version of the FF adds some extra low-end goodness via the 1-2-3 mini-toggle switch. Position 1 is classic FF. Positions 2 and 3 introduce added low end that works incredibly well with bass or guitar. A very cool tweak on a classic to be sure!

We're huge Zvex fans and are thrilled to have this gently used Fat Fuzz Factory in the shop!
