Description

It's been a treat to have this recently converted 1953 000-28 to 000-42 in the shop ~ check out the gorgeous, straght-grained Brazilian Rosewood on this beauty! The guitar was converted by C.F. Martin's repair shop, using the factory's 1939 000-42 as a blueprint. Complete hide glue construction and a torrefied Adirondack Spruce top combine to produce the kind of resonance you'd expect from a pre-war 000; and the easy-playing neck will have you picking away on those Clapton tunes for hours! This instrument makes a compelling target for anyone interested in Martin's new 000-42 Authentic ~ or anyone looking for that elusive old-growth Brazilian Rosewood triple-0. Priced with hard case from Martin!
