Martin 0-28K (1926)

Sold

Description

This wonderful sounding 1926 Martin 0-28K came to us from the original owner's family. It's rare to see one of Martin's herringbone-trimmed Koa guitars in condition this fine -- and with hardly anything ever done to it. After a neck set and some minor repairs by TJ Thompson, it's playing like new again and sounding absolutely sublime. Everyone on the TME staff is smitten with this guitar; and we've likely all contemplated moving our personal guitars to try and buy it. For pre-war Koa Martins, this one's as good as it gets! (Have a listen to Eduardo Mercuri playing it at the Video tab.)
