If you're looking at this listing, you likely know how rare it is to see a pre-owned guitar from Julius Borges. This OM-18 was made in 2003 with some of Julius' "Golden Grain" Mahogany, and a particularly lively Red Spruce top. It's been played and gigged professionally over these last 17 years -- so expect to see a little bit of playwear upon close examination. It's feather-light and perfectly playable, with a huge voice and wide-open sound. The tone is clear and deep, with round, thick trebles all the way up the fretboard. If you're looking for the fabled modern OM that will compete favorably with a pre-war Martin, look no further. A truly wonderful-sounding instrument. Priced with Calton case.
