"You need to create an experience for the player. Whether it's the way the amp sits in the mix or the way the amp makes your pant legs move...create an experience for the player that he/she can't stop talking about." - Brad Jackson

The Jackson Ampworks "McFly" is arguably their most coveted amp. An addition to their new American line of products, the McFly is an original circuit based on the classic Tweeds and Blackfaces of yesteryear. The McFly's 6SN7 preamp tube replicates the the precursor to the modern 9 pin 12AX7 preamp tubes, giving it the wide frequency response it's known for. The preamp's two operating modes (50’s and 60’s) provide distinct sounds: the 60’s mode is the cleaner of the two and provides clean headroom perfect for musical styles where a vintage Blackface sound is needed. The 50’s mode is more aggressive, with a gain structure that gives the McFly its signature Tweed era tone!
