The great Gibson LG2 train keeps rolling on with this handsome & punchy-sounding little guitar from 1944! Of all the LG2s we've had in the shop recently, this one may scream "Gibson" more than any other: the tone is balanced, clear and warm, with honk that'll remind you of a resonator guitar when you dig in. It's also got a beefy neck that makes for extremely comfortable chording in the first position when using this guitar to accompany a vocal. Extremely clean, crack-free condition, with enough finish crazing to let you know it's well-aged and surfaces lustrous enough to make it poster-worthy. New tuner buttons, and a well-done neck reset by Mark Stutman have this guitar functioning like a new instrument. And in short -- if you're looking for a "Banner" LG2, this is as close to perfect as they come. With contemporary hard case.
