We've built a few Collings guitars with figured mahogany over the last few years - it goes in and out of availability - and this instrument is a terrific example of just how special a guitar build out of this unique wood can be. This mahogany is a little softer than the wood traditionally used for their style-1 guitars, and it makes for a warmer-than-usual OM1A, all while retaining the volume, clarity and note attack you'd expect from a Collings guitar.  This is a terrific sounding instrument and a great opportunity to pick up a unique guitar at a discounted price. The condition is excellent and bears little evidence of prior ownership. Priced with the highly sought after hand-built vintage-style hard case from Collings!
