Certainly a rare instrument, we've had the unusual fortune to have a few of Vega's cylinder back "lute" mandolins make thier way through the shop in the last few months. They are really special, typically loud and light with a remarkable resonance and depth all their own. This model 203 is a fine example, as it is all original with very little wear. It has beautiful curly maple back and sides with a red spruce top, original frets in good shape, and is setup nicely to be extremely playable.
