This is a more unique offering from Sumi, a one of a kind oval hole, built in the style of John Monteleone's mandolins. This is a very special mandolin, as it is the only oval-hole Monteleone copy he ever built. Visually striking and modern, reflecting Monteleone's balance of contemporary and traditional aesthetics, the sound is quite warm, open and punchy, reminiscent of a strong '20s-era Gibson A with a tad more projection.
