Here it is, folks, the latest pièce de résistance from Santa Cruz Guitars. Featured, and drooled over, at the recent NAMM show, as well as the latest issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine this H13 Koa has eye-popping appeal and is equally impressive on the ears. To call this koa 'figured' would be an understatement. Richard Hoover seems to have taken a page out of the Avatar playbook: 3D glasses are included in the case. He could have stopped there but took things one step closer to the sublime with a scintillating abalone trim on the top, fingerboard, peghead and back strip. The tone is lush and warm with outstanding depth and clarity. A unique work of art that will hold its own in any world-class collection.
