This Sam Bush Signature Model from 2005 is in very good condition. Based on Sam's 1937 Gibson F5 and in production for several years now, this model has earned it's reputation as one of the finest in the Gibson Nashville line. Compared to the more standard F5s it has a larger 30's style rounded V neck, wider fingerboard, and broader spacing between the string-pairs. This is a very strong instrument, with plenty of volume and articulation to cut through the loudest of jams. There is some finish wear on the top edge the treble side f-hole, but all other wear is very light. This mandolin also come with the added bonus of a custom-made bone bridge saddle. 1 1/16" nut, a 13 29/32" scale length, and 21 frets.
