New for 2009, National has resurrected one of the coolest single-cone resonators from the 30s. Vintage National Triolians are always instantly recongizable by the painted-on polychrome finish, and one of the most attractive models was the walnut sunburst. The fine folks at National have done a supurb job replicating the retro-vibe of those instruments in this new model. Made with thin guage steel, this guitar is slightly lighter than the Delphi, which accounts for a bit brighter tone.
