Wood bodied tricones have always been hard to find, so we are pleased to introduce you to National's M1 Tricone Wood Body. One strum on this and you'll wonder why National hasn't been building these all along. It makes pefect sense to take the complexity and articulation of the tricone resonator and pair it with the warm response of a wood body. The M1 Tricone is decidedly louder than the other Tricones available, which is probably due to the fact that it is over three pounds lighter than it's metal-bodied counterpart. There is a depth and richness here that is instantly appealing.
