Very fine condition 1947 Epiphone Triumph archtop with 17 3/8" lower bout, solid maple back and sides, center dip peghead with fat column peghead inlay, Frequensator tailpiece, long pickguard, triple bound top. From the original Masterbilt series, the Triumph was one of Epiphones most popular archtops. This example is close to original condition. The pickguard was cut to accommodate a pickup (no longer attached). Some dings and nicks over the top; back has one 4-5 inch back crack which is glued and very tight. Excellent playability with a very impressive tonal response--plenty of volume. With original hard shell case.
