I recently met Bill Comins at the Montreal Luthier's Convention and was instantly impressed by the both the quality of his guitars and Bill's vast knowledge of archtop construction. It's certainly evident in this beautiful 16" Classic, where Bill's commitment to quality is apparent in every detail: excellent fit and finish, graceful arch and curve, exquisite bindings, and sweet, uncompromising tone. The guitar achieves a nice level of sustain and clarity, full depth of tone, and a great ease of playability. The 16" body is very comfortable without sacrificing tone or projection.
