Very hard, seasoned Adirondack tops and exquisite maple backs, plus Collings' keen understanding of acoustics make these mandos some of the best on the market. Brilliantly figured curly maple back and rim on this particular mando with an exquisite honey amber finish and tortoise shell bindings.

Note on this latest MF5 the very organic flame pattern to the back, nicely matched to the flamed maple neck, as well as the Ad top, which features a bold, strong grain pattern. A radiused, bound fingerboard is standard, as are the gold Gotoh vintage-styled tuners with ebony buttons and Collings' designed nickel tailpiece.
